Abstract

The invention relates to a brass smelting furnace which comprises a closed furnace body, a feeding pipe and a screw, wherein the feeding pipe and the screw are arranged on the furnace body, a main part of the feeding pipe and the main part of the screw are located inside the closed furnace body, a feeding inlet is arranged on the feeding pipe outside the closed furnace body, the screw is arranged inside the feeding pipe, a hollow nitrogen channel used for filling nitrogen is arranged inside the screw, an air inlet of the hollow nitrogen channel is located outside the closed furnace body, an air outlet of the hollow nitrogen channel is located on a non-stressed face of the bottom portion of the screw, a zinc air outlet is arranged on the top portion of the closed furnace body, a copper liquid outlet is arranged on the bottom portion of the closed furnace body, a pressure-regulating observation mouth is arranged on the side wall of the closed furnace body, and a closed slagging mouth is arranged under the pressure-regulating observation mouth. The brass smelting furnace has the advantages of being novel in structure and low in using energy consumption and efficiently extracting pure copper and pure zinc from brass.
