Abstract

The invention provides lithium-ion battery electrolyte, which comprises the following components: chained carbonic ester, lithium salt and additives, wherein the chained carbonic ester is a mixture of diethyl carbonate and dimethyl carbonate, the lithium salt is lithium bi-borate, the additives are an overcharge protection additive and a flame-retardant additive, the volume ratio of the diethyl carbonate to dimethyl carbonate is 1: (1.5 to 2.6), the overcharge protection additive is 1,2-dimethoxy-4-nitrobenzene, and the flame-retardant additive is chlorophosphite. The lithium-ion battery electrolyte has good overcharge protection performance and flame retardant safety.
